This work is an old piece that I made during a period of intense personal research. The intention here was to express the liberty of a heart expressing the full extent of its nature. I chose a bird for its natural tendencies in defying gravity and the grace it incarnates in the environment in which it develops. All my work is haunted by this research of natural grace in which nature, in its true form can develop in harmony with its environment. The hart is the porter of all emotions and here by is the window through which we see the universe in which we live. If the hart is in accord with its destiny, then like that of the bird, human nature can manifest the true expression of its existence. Natural attributes incarnated within the hart must learns to fly, developed and be pushed into the arena of action. This projection created enormous difficulty for me for I continuously felt unprepared and inadequate for the task that I was undertaking. The above work is the goal which I hold for my art living freely within the boundary’s of my nature while at the same time accepting no limits.
