The negotiations is a very fragile piece that I made back in 1995. It was one of the first in the wire series that I put together. It was a bit of an experiment to see what I could do and how far I could exploit an image with this, at that time, new approach. the experience was fruitful for after that I attacked "fydo a perdu son os" and so forth. Now the images hold their own, in the true sense how I imagined them to be, fragile in structural appearance but strong in transmitting a relationship of understanding.
